Ernő Schaller-Baross

He has completed his higher education studies at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, Faculty of Law. During his university years, he has worked as an intern with a member of the Hungarian Parliament.

He started his professional life as a desk officer at the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice of Hungary. Afterwards, he worked as the Director of International Affairs at the Foundation for a Civic Hungary, and the Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary. Between 2017 and 2018, he worked as a foreign affairs adviser to the leader of the parliamentary group of Fidesz.

Between May of 2018 and January of 2021 he held the position of Deputy State Secretary of International Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office of Hungary. Since 2020 he serves as a Ministerial Commissioner at the Prime Minister’s Office. In 2021 the Fidesz has announced him as a Member of the European Parliament.
